Amid the Covid-19 situation in India improved, the state govt of Himachal Pradesh has decided to discontinue the requirement of mandatory e-pass for tourists visiting the state from July
The state government has also decided to allow inter-state buses including private ones with 50 percent capacity.
It is important to note that starting from 14th June, inter-state travelers will not require to show a negative RT-PCR test to enter Himachal Pradesh.
The decision comes after a cabinet meeting held here under Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur to reviewed the Coronavirus situation in the state other relaxations, all the shops will now remain open from 9 am to 8 pm while restaurants would be allowed to remain open till 10 pm.
Social gatherings/attendance etc. would be allowed up to 50 percent of the total indoor capacity with a maximum of 50 persons, whereas a maximum of 100 persons would be allowed in the outdoor gatherings
these decisions have been taken because of persistent demand from hoteliers and others associated with the travel and tourism sector. The hospitality sector has been the worst hit, with thousands of people losing their jobs.
